Watermark

Text or logo on several images at once

What is Watermark?

A watermark helps stop your photos being used without permission and makes it clear who the author is. With this tool you can sign your images with text, such as your name or website, or with your brand logo.

You decide where it goes, how transparent it is and whether it repeats across the whole image. Best of all, it is applied the same way to every photo you add, so you protect a whole shoot in one go.

How to use it

  1. Add the photos you want to protect.
  2. Choose “Text” and type it, or “Logo” and upload your image (a transparent PNG is best).
  3. Adjust size, color, opacity and rotation.
  4. Place the watermark in one of the nine positions or turn on “Tile”.
  5. Click “Apply” and download the watermarked photos or the ZIP.

Advantages

Technical details

The watermark is drawn proportionally to each image, so it looks the same on photos of different sizes: text is measured as a percentage (1–25%) of the image's average dimension and the logo as a percentage (3–80%) of its width. Available fonts: Sans, Serif, Mono and Impact, with a bold option; the text has a soft shadow so it stays readable on similar backgrounds. Opacity from 5% to 100%, rotation from −90° to 90° and nine positions with a 3% margin. Tile mode repeats the rotated watermark in a grid with offset rows covering the full diagonal. The logo accepts PNG, WEBP, JPG and SVG. Photos (up to 50 MB) are exported in their original format at quality 0.92.

Frequently asked questions

How do I watermark several photos at once?

Add all the photos, set up the watermark once and click apply. It will be placed the same way on all of them and you can download them in a ZIP.

Can I use my logo as a watermark?

Yes. Choose “Logo” and upload your image. A PNG with a transparent background looks much better than a JPG.

How do I make a watermark that is hard to remove?

Turn on “Tile” mode to repeat it across the whole photo and use a medium opacity, between 20% and 40%, so it doesn't cover the image.

Does the tool add its own watermark?

No. Only the watermark you set up appears.
