What is JPG/PNG to PDF?
Taking photos of a document with your phone is quick, but you are often asked to submit it as a PDF. With this tool you turn one or more images into a single PDF, one image per page.
You put the images in order by dragging, choose the page size and whether you want margins, and download a PDF ready to send or print. It also works with iPhone HEIC photos.
How to use it
- Drag in your JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP or HEIC images.
- Put them in order by dragging the thumbnails.
- Choose the page size: A4, Letter, A3 or “Fit to image”.
- Set the orientation and the margin in millimeters.
- Click “Create PDF” and download it.
Advantages
- Several images in a single PDF, in the order you choose.
- Embeds JPGs and PNGs without recompressing: the quality doesn't change.
- Automatic orientation based on the shape of each image.
- Works with iPhone HEIC photos, no sign-up needed.
Technical details
The PDF is created with pdf-lib. JPGs and PNGs are embedded as they are, without recompression; WEBP, GIF, BMP and HEIC files, and JPGs with a rotated EXIF orientation, are converted first (to PNG if they may have transparency, or to JPEG at quality 0.92). Page sizes: A4 (595 × 842 pt), Letter (612 × 792 pt), A3 (842 × 1191 pt) or fitted to the image at 96 DPI. Automatic orientation sets images that are wider than tall to landscape. The margin ranges from 0 to 40 mm and the image is scaled to fit the printable area, centered and without distortion. Accepts images up to 50 MB.
